The problem Task-fi : Earn Rewards While building skills solves

The Problem
In today’s fast-paced digital world, millions of people — from students to freelancers — are working hard to learn, earn, and grow. But they face one common issue:
they put in effort, but don’t get the recognition, reward, or rights they deserve.

User-Specific Challenges

  1. Students
  • Spend hours on YouTube, LeetCode, courses — but get no reward or proof of progress.
  • Low motivation, high dropout rate in self-learning.
  1. Freelancers
  • No guaranteed payments, late or unfair compensation.
  • No proper work history or portfolio to demand better pay.
  • Exploitation and labor right violations common.
  1. Developers / Creators
  • Contribute to open source or side projects with zero incentives.
  • No ecosystem to monetize small productivity wins.

Our Solution: TaskFi

A Web3 productivity & earning platform on BASE where:

  • Users complete tasks (study, work, side projects).
  • Tasks verified via AI or community.
  • Compete in fun contests and win PRIZE POOL
  • A freelancer? List yourself transparently and efficiently all in TASK ecosystem.
  • Earn $TASK tokens as rewards — stored on blockchain as proof-of-effort.
  • Create or buy AI agents to boost productivity (using tokens).
  • All powered by a transparent, community-governed.

Tldr; a gamified platform of learning and building skills, gamified like duolingo and transparent like stepN

Challenges I ran into

  1. Web3 & Wallet Integration
Connecting crypto wallets like Metamask in a smooth and beginner-friendly way was a big challenge. We had to make it feel like a regular login — not something scary or complex.

  2. Smart Contracts & Tokens
Building the $TASK token system with transactions, contest entries, and token transfer logic took time. Making sure the contracts were secure and the rewards fair was tricky.

  3. AI Verification System
We didn’t want people faking tasks. So we built a system that uses AI to verify courses completion, coding into leetcode.

  4. AI Agent Marketplace
Letting users upload and sell AI tools (like GPT bots) — and tracking usage and payments — was technically complex. We had to balance user freedom with safety and proper rewards.

  5. Keeping the Token Economy Balanced
We didn’t want the token to lose value. So we carefully designed ways to spend, earn, and burn $TASK, keeping the system stable and motivating.

  6. Making It Easy for Everyone
Not everyone knows crypto. So we focused on simplifying the user experience — from logging in, to earning tokens, to using the AI tools — so it feels like a normal productivity app.

  7. Are you a freelancer?
Simplify your listing and be transparent by listing on TASK ecosystem, no more underpayments and delayed payments from clients in web2 platforms, all fast and smooth on BASE chain
